OSHA

This means that you are trained, according to the international standards, to handle the pathological specimens and careful enough to avoid any contamination/pricking or transfer of any infection. You may again need to contact the elective coordinator to get the web address where you can train yourself for this requirement and then get certificate after clearing a short test.

Or, if the elective university requires, then you may have to contact someone in the Pathology Department of your home school to get such a certificate.

hi vishwa, i m sorry i dont know about any such site but i would recommend you viewing some of the recent comments under this context...http://umartariq.com/index.php?q=comments/recent

Hey friends,

There has been a lot of confusion regarding OSHA. So i m trying to clear the air here..

OSHA is not required before acceptance. Some of the universities which state in their requirements that u should apply with OSHA training are Tufts,Suny,Harward..

I enquired in Tufts and Suny and they said you can do it after acceptance.

So in short OSHA is NOT a pre-approval mandatory requirement. It can be done later and will not affect your application.

But still if u wish to have it done as Umar bhai said u can contact ur pathology department if it provides.

Hope this helps all n specially Andy ( dude dont waste money on this) .

All the best .. God bless Umar bhai...
